History Of Shri Yantar Temple.

The Idea of Shriyantar Mandir,one of the unique temples in whole of Northern India was conceived and the foundation stone was laid by Th.Gulchain Singh Charak,President of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust on 2nd of August,2012.

Shriyantar in Sanskrit means an instrument which can make any job easy like a machine.According to ancient text Lord Shiva is said to have explained the mystical meaning of the yantras to goddess Parvati.The systematically energized Yantras give prosperity in life,business carear ,ensures good heath,besides happiness and protects from various evils.Yantras are the diagrammatic representation of Mantras.Some of the commonly known yantras are.

  • Sarswati Yantra----- For Education.
  • Maha Mritunjaya Yantra----- For Health.
  • Vaahan Durghatna Nashak Yantra---- For Saving from Accident.
  • Kaal Sarp Dosh Yantra------- For Saving from Kaal Sarp.
  • Swastik Yantra------- For all Good Things.
  • Shri Mahalakshmi Yantra-------For Finances.
  • Kuber Yantra------- For Financial Increase.
  • Vastu Disha Yantra------- For Directions of all rooms in house.
  • Nav Greh Yantra---------- For making happy all Navgrehas.
  • Shri Yantra-------- Lakshmi Maa Ka Yantra.

Shriyantra is called King of all abovementioned Yantras.

Shriyantra is a diagram formed by nine interlocking triangles that surround and radiate out from the central (Bindu) point. The two dimensional Sri Chakra, when it is projected into three dimensions, is called a Maha Meru Mount Meru.

It represents the Goddess in her form of Lalita or Tripura Sundri, the beauty of the three worlds (BHOO, BHUVA, SWA).
Four isosceles triangles with the apices upwords representing Shiva or the Masculine. Five isosceles triangles with the apices downwards symbolize female embodiment Shakti.

Since it is composed of nine triangles, it is known as “NAVYONI CHAKRA’’.
